We had to bring our injured child into the Emergency Department. Our first and hopefully never again visit.

Big thanks to them for being able to keep their cool under stressful times.

Quite disappointed as I heard it is the best hospital for baby and children.

The same can't be said about the staff working at the front desk who deals with filling in paperwork. She was an older lady (possibly the oldest at the front desk?). She was rude and sarcastic.

Again, thank you to the doctor and nurse who looked after us.

She asked us a whole lot of questions and I asked her to explain what she was asking (because I didn't understand what she was really asking). She then shook her head at me and ignored my questions.

Both the registered nurse and the doctor who saw us were really nice. (they didn't introduce themselves so I can't provide their names to compliment them).

It is a great hospital but we really need the new children's hospital open as the older it gets it is definitely having an affect on the hospitals machines and things like that. Once we have the new hospital it will be great! All staff, doctors and nurses are pretty good too.

Most of the staff are heartless with children. I been waiting since 8pm and doctor came at 9:30pm and make us wait until 11:30pm. Then told us at the end to go home as there was nothing wrong with my 2 months old ( she been screaming since 6pm) none of the staff even care about baby crying. Hopefully I don't have to go back there anymore.

As someone who works in the Emergency Department of a children's hospital, surely she sees sick children coming in with their worried parents all day? She seems lacking in any compassion (maybe this isn't part of her job specs but surely it is common sense?).

I understand any ED, especially that of a children's hospital is short staffed, stressed out etc, however this does not excuse bad attitudes. I think I spotted your poster said: Respect, Give It, Take It? Or something as to this effect? We certainly were not given any respect by this older lady staff. Perhaps she could go through a refresher training course in customer service.

I ended up asking the triage nurse who explained how many were waiting before us.

I was scared and worried for my child.

When I then asked how long approximately we would be seen, without looking up from her computer, she curtly said "I don't know. You just wait."

Had to take our daughter in at 10 days old for an emergency. We were surprised when we got seen within 5 minutes. All the staff we saw, from reception, to nurses to doctors made us feel important and showed a real sense of care and compassion.

Name and shame. I wish I good give a negative review. Nurse Browyn from 6b is a disgusting human. She would make more money being a drug dealer. Dr J Ha has lied and made my daughter sicker.

We waited for about maybe over 2 hours.

You can see they actually like their job and care about looking after children. Even though they work in the ED and deal with stressful situations, they were able keep cool and be nice to us, parents who are worried and scared and having to bring their injured child into ED.
