Wilson Parking on Seddon st outside Subiaco Dome Cafe. I gave them one star but this is certainly over generous - there was no option for no stars! These guys are money hungry. You cannot take them through The WA Ombudsmen because they are a private company (I tried this avenue and was told they are not public so there was not anything they could do). Take a look at how much it costs for 0 - 30 minutes and you will be SHOCKED! I parked outside the Dome cafe in February 2014 and text my friend to ask if she had arrived (as we were meeting in Dome). She text back and said she was already inside. A guy walked past my car staring at me - at the time I did not recognise him as a parking inspector. I remember thinking, why are you staring at me! I walked to the ticket machine which was approximately 5 meters from my car. When I returned to my car to put my ticket on display, blow and behold there was a parking infringement. A) The guy knew who I was and B) The ticket machine was in eyesight of my car hence he knew exactly what he was doing. I was furious and hunted him down telling him that he needs to give people time to purchase their ticket. He told me he would "sort it" and took the parking infringement back. I did not think to film him with my phone saying this however I now know you cannot take them on their word. Three months later I receive a letter from Wilson Parking (Parking Infringement Services) saying that I must pay up immediately and as I have not paid, they slapped a $15 increase on the fine (from the ticket that I paid for). I wrote them a letter back, emailing it directly to them so that I had evidence of my contact with them. The person came back to me and told me I had to go through the appeals system (where you have no evidence of your contact). I did so and they sent me a letter back saying that if I give them the parking ticket, they will drop the case. I told them it happened 3 months ago and I did not have the parking ticket (I don't collect them!). They then told me that I could provide them with my credit card details and they could check it against the time of the fine. I told them I had paid the ticket with coins. So letters went back and forth and they kept sending me a standardised letter (look at the complaints online about Wilson Parking and people will show you this letter) that basically says, we are not interested, just pay us the money otherwise we will wheel-clamp your car should we find it in our carparks. I then found the name of a guy who works for Wilson Parking and PES (PES is the people who are their debt collectors). I emailed him and sent another appeal and asked them to find the male who was on shift that day and ask him. I had the time I was in the carpark and the day and date. I had also commented to the girl who was working at Dome cafe that day and my friend about what had happened. They continued to send me out letters then threatening to take me to court! I then thought out of chance, I would check an old credit card to see by chance if I had paid it on that card and blow and behold I found it! I was so relieved I sent the guy from PES and Wilson Parking an email with a copy of the bank statement and through the appeals system the information and told them the case was now closed. Then this year in July, 17 months after the original date, I get a letter from them telling me they are going to take me to court! I was utterly PISSED OFF to say the least. I then contacted them again with the information yet again, so I am still awaiting a reply from these money hungry bastards.
